Waiting for a blizzard

Productive Sunday and weekend. Saw Melissa Bolling perform at Chianti last night, went to Barre this morning and had dinner at Howling Wolf tonight. Also did my touch up on my twists at Ana's hair braiding, so a busy weekend for me. They are predicting a blizzard on Tuesday! Plus a trip to Miami for work.  All I can do is give all the glory to God. Redouble my efforts toward finding joy. New week, same me.

I've lived in Boston for the past five years and have enjoyed the underground alternative music circuit.  This experience has been a cultural and learning experience.  As an educated colored girl from New York City, my cultural experiences have been predictable.  Some soul music, nice lounge, buppy crowd, you know the deal.  Nothing wrong, I still yearn for the  scene from time to time.
